Yay for more panel practice!
Soooo this one is of my OC Charlie Finch. She's had a difficult life; both feet dug deep within all the terrible things her parents were involved with, had done, etc. It isn't until she's about thirteen that she finally finds her escape from it all, and it's found through one thing:
Her best friend, Joel Parker, gets her into a band called The Color Black. Before too long, she's obsessed with them. She takes on another part-time job to earn money so she can buy their albums and go to their concerts. It's what kept her going; gave her something to live for. It was as if the words were sung for her; every beat, every strum, every explosion of musical havoc was done to reach her, and ease her pain, and heal her wounds. It was amazing, addicting, and pulled her out of a rut she never knew how to crawl out of.
When she turned fourteen, Joel took her to another one of their concerts. It was here that she got to meet them for the first time -- backstage. She'd always been fascinated with the drummer, Annah, -- because out of the entire band, she was the only girl. While they talked, Charlie learned the drummer had a similar past to hers -- drugged, young parents, abused emotional state, nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Once the talk came to an end and they were escorted out, the drummer gave Charlie her drumsticks, and told her to "Never give up - no matter what."
A week later, Charlie had fully devoted her life to the passion of music, and in specific, drumming. She looked to Annah for inspiration and guidance, saving up the money to buy bits and pieces of old used drumsets until she finally had one. She went everywhere -- parks, beaches, subways, bus stops -- and played for people. Drumming quickly became her sole purpose in life. She wanted to reach other kids like The Color Black had. She wanted to help people, and inspire others. At age fifteen, Charlotte meets a guy by the name of Bruce Williams, who turns out to be an amazing guitarist. After some thinking, she brings up an idea to her and her bass-playing friend, Joel:
What if...we start a band together?
Two years later, they've recruited Zeke Andrews as the secondary guitarist, and have began traveling around to sporting events, park events, etc, etc, to spread the word about their music. They title the band, "Crescendo" which means "climax", or "the peak of", and release their first original album when Charlie turns eighteen.
To cut a longer story short, a record label offers them a deal, and they hit it pretty big.
It just kinda goes to show that even when you feel like your life is nonexistent and meaningless...you can still use it to help other people and do great things.
I'll cut this short, here, as not to keep you any longer
I really hate the bottom panels, 'cause I think they suck. But I like the top one <3
Leave some comments below; critiques, comments, suggestions, etc etc ~o3o~ I'd love some feedback.
Charlie Finch & Art (c)
Every time you steal my art, a baby elephant in northeastern Africa gets Herpies. Be a good person, save the elephants, and don't steal my art.

The one on the bottom right?
Oh, yeah, I noticed that XD I'm actually in the process of fixing it right now :3 Her eye is also too low, which is throwing it off too.
